WoW Status, RL Sports & F1, SC2

Feeling bored of WoW as it stands, don't have the insane urge to play or the will to log on frequently that i had the first few year(s) when playing, maybe its time to let some other things take over from it for a while, though i've said this many many times and it never ends up being the case but i'd like to sit back and get the urge to play again, this for most people usually entails taking a lengthy break, the problem with WoW is if you take a big break and wait for the itch to come back you usually end up having much inferior gear to everyone else and it makes it even worse.

On another note, it sucks to see Raikkonen go off again when he's in a competative position to start getting his act together in the championship, i've been watching F1 for the last few years specifically to see him finally start doing well in the championship, seems his car is always breaking due to mechanical problems or him just purely overdriving the car, he definetly needs more RESIL gems in his motor, ruins the season to watch such a good driver over the years never be able to clinch the championship, when I went to football today I got the best feeling i'd had in ages, could run throughout the whole 1 hour session without feeling exhausted, those frequent IRL jogging sessions and slightly less shitty-diet definetly go a long way if you can try and perseveer with them for a while (though I probably won't be able to stick to a good diet like this) also got an oldschool goal from wayyyyyy behind the half way line that I hadnt had the opportunity to have such luck since 2000-2001, it felt really good, much better than any recent WoW feelings I've had in a longtime, any suggestions as to what to do to let the WoW itch come back again?

Its funny, when I usually tell people I'm bored of the game who arent really my prio friends, they usually respond with "Level my char!" or "Grind me honor", you think after doing HWL twice and insane grindfests that i'm even remotely interested in grinding ANYTHING in WoW at all? quite the opporsite really, I'm probably around 107 times less interested than you are in even remotely grinding anything pixel-related

Like I said, my arena team is an AFKERS dream, 2k+ rating from 10 games a week tickover, I know it could be alot higher than any other team on the realm if we put more time and effort into it but the feeling just isnt there for me to push it at the moment. And yeah, its my fault atm we arent playing more than this many games weekly, partially due to my lack of interest as it stands, I do however feel very excited about SC2 and its the only other game I have the urge to 'delve' into in recent years, nothing else really compels me to want to play it, WoW's been pretty much the only game to fill that void. As a sidenote the forums seems messy atm, really don't know why the host has rolled back so heavily..

I think its healthy to take a break every now and then... at the end of the day it's just a game

Like you said before, you should have the urge to play rather than force yourself :D

You are probably feeling that "nothing new to do" crunch. When it hits, it hits hard.

Quitting this game would be tantamount to dropping a bad cocaine habit. In other words, good luck. On the other hand, if you do successfully REALLY quit, it will probably be the wisest decision you'll make all year. Most of us need to let this thing just die.

You could try a different char if you havent thought of it yet.. (or come back to vashj and try to see the fun in raiding again m8).

Anyways... i think if you quit now you will always have the feeling that you didnt reach the highest possible (playing on the finals of the arena season that is..)

On the other hand.. quitting might be your only solution to solve things... :)

I would love to see you stay.. but hence we will keep in contact anyways so...
